39th Board Meeting of the GCF

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is the world’s largest climate fund, acting as the climate finance mechanism of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Its Board is responsible for the governance of the Fund’s management, facilitating consensus-based decisions among developed and developing countries.

The GCF Board convenes three times each year for Board Meetings, which also gathers key representatives from member countries, civil society, financial institutions, and the private sector to discuss effective, inclusive, and sustainable ways of responding to the challenges of the climate crisis.

The 39th Board Meeting of the GCF (B.39) is held on July 15-18, 2024 in Songdo, Incheon, South Korea. The webcast of this board meeting may be accessed here.
